"Marathon classic coffee ltd, is actually more of a sandwich place, famous for its club sandwich. They also serve coffee, beer, and stronger alcohol. It’s located in the Marathon “mall”, of which still has a Sears sign lol. The club sandwich came in with hand cut fries. Make sure you ask for vinegar."

"Classic Coffee was the only resteraunt open when we stopped in Marathon but I'm sure glad we decided to give them a try. The meal was delicious, a good portion and fairly priced. The young lady serving us was friendly and helpful. Food came out very fast. It seems family owned and operated which is always a plus in my book."

We were sat and looked at the menu and it had something for everyone in our group (two adults and two kids). The service was fantastic - very friendly and kind. The food was beyond what we thought it would have been by far. My son raved about their poutine. My fiancée had the soup and it was a hearty hamburger soup. It tasted like your Grama made it, the whole experience was almost nostalgic. It felt very zellars restaurant in the early 90s. If we ever go to marathon again, we look forward to going back and if you guys read this - feel free to send the soup recipe"
